BuzzBug Electric Cat Ladybug - 4 pieces

Nothing holds a cat's attention like a real insect on a hard floor. The skittering, the sudden stop, the way it carries on in a different direction — no feather wand has ever managed it.

The BuzzBug Electric Cat Ladybug is 4.5 cm of vibrating plastic with bristle legs that make it travel exactly that way. It changes direction on its own, rights itself when it tips over, and keeps going for about an hour and a half.

One button battery runs it. Seven colour combinations, and the updated version carries a small red LED that shows through the shell.

Why You'll Love It

🪲 It Moves Like Something Alive
Bristle legs on a vibrating body give a scuttle that is genuinely insect-like. The hunting response it triggers is the real thing, not polite interest.

🔄 It Gets Back Up
Batted over onto its back, it rights itself and carries on. That one detail is what stops the game ending after thirty seconds.

🏃 Real Exercise For An Indoor Cat
Chasing across a room beats a toy that sits still. Ninety minutes of it is a properly tired cat.

🎨 Seven Colourways
Red and black, green and red, purple and green, blue-green and more. Cats seem to have preferences, which is as good a reason as any to have two.

🪑 Goes Where Cats Already Look
It is small enough to disappear under the sofa and come out the other side, which is where half the fun happens.

🔌 No Charging
A button cell and a switch. Nothing to plug in, nothing waiting on a cable.

🐶 Small Dogs Chase It Too
Terriers in particular. It is light enough that a small dog can bat it about without destroying it in one go.

👜 Pocket Sized
At 4.5 cm it travels. Useful for a cat who needs distracting at the vet or in a new house.

🌙 The LED Version Works In The Dark
A small red glow moving across a dark floor is unbearable for a cat in the best way.

🎁 Stocking-Filler Sized
Cheap enough to buy three, small enough to post, and it needs no setting up. (4pcs - random colour)

Keeping It Going

Switch it off after play rather than letting the battery run flat. The legs are the part that wears — a quick pull of trapped fur keeps the scuttle sharp.

It is a supervised toy because of its size and the button cell. Put it away between sessions rather than leaving it out.
