A real fish tank means filters, feeding and a cat sitting on top of it. Most people who want one actually want the calm of something moving slowly in the corner of the room.

The ReefBox LED Aquarium Night Light is a small desktop tank with three artificial fish that drift through the water, a coral reef backdrop and three colourful LED lights. Fill it from the tap and it comes to life.

Supplied with three fish and a USB cable, in a black frame. It also runs on 3 ร— AA batteries, which are not included.

Why You'll Love It

๐ŸŒŠ Calm Without The Upkeep
No feeding, no filter and nothing to die while you are on holiday. Just water and light.

๐ŸŸ The Fish Actually Move
Three artificial fish float and drift in the water, so it looks alive rather than like a picture of a tank.

๐ŸŒ™ A Gentle Night Light
Soft coloured light is enough to see by and quiet enough to sleep beside, in a bedroom or on a landing.

๐Ÿชธ A Reef Behind It
The ocean backdrop gives depth, so the small tank reads as a slice of coral reef.

๐Ÿ”Œ Two Ways To Power It
Plug it into a USB port at a desk, or put batteries in and move it anywhere without a cable.

๐Ÿฑ Cats Will Watch It
It is fun for a curious cat to stare at, and nothing inside can be fished out or eaten.

๐Ÿง˜ Something To Look At
Slow movement and soft colour are pleasant to have in view while working or winding down.

๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Small Enough For A Desk
Under 18 cm long, it fits beside a monitor, on a bedside table or on a shelf.

๐ŸŽ Easy To Give
For anyone who likes the sea, or a child who wants fish but is not ready for real ones.

Setting It Up

Fill the tank with tap water and add 2โ€“4 drops of washing-up liquid โ€“ that is what lets the fish float and move freely. Close it, switch it on and the light and movement start.

Keep it on a flat, stable surface, and if a cat is in the house, put it somewhere it cannot be knocked off. Empty and refill the water now and then to keep it clear.
