Cats sleep best where nothing can creep up behind them. ShellNest – Hooded Plush Cat Cave is shaped like a shell, with a soft hood arching over the back, so your cat lies in a sheltered, half-enclosed nest instead of out in the open.
The whole bed is made of deep plush, measures 40 cm (15.75") across and comes in four checkerboard patterns — green-white, pink-white, brown-white and black-white.
Why Cats Settle Into It
🏠 Semi-Enclosed Hood
The arching hood shields the back and sides, which gives anxious and easily startled cats the sense of safety they look for before they really relax.
🌑 Keeps Light and Draughts Out
The cave shape blocks bright room light and cold air moving across the floor — both reasons a cat abandons an open bed.
☁️ Soft Plush Throughout
Base, sides and hood are all made of the same deep plush, so there is no hard edge anywhere against the body.
📏 40 cm Across
Big enough for a cat to curl up completely, and equally suited to kittens and small dogs.
🏁 Four Checkerboard Patterns
Green-white, pink-white, brown-white or black-white — a bed that looks like a piece of furniture rather than pet equipment.
🪶 Light to Carry
Pick it up with one hand and move it from the sofa to the bedroom, so your pet can sleep close to you wherever you are.
🛋️ Fits in Any Corner
Designed with small flats in mind: it takes up a corner of a room rather than a whole wall.
❄️ Warm Through Winter
The enclosed shape holds body heat, which makes it especially welcome on cold nights and in unheated rooms.
🐾 Cats and Small Dogs Alike
Suitable for cats, kittens and small dog breeds who like to sleep tucked away.
