Cats and small dogs do not want an open basket in January. They want to be under something. That is why you find them in the laundry pile, inside a jumper sleeve, or wedged behind a radiator.
The TuckIn Hooded Pet Sleeping Bag gives them that on purpose. A corduroy outer shell over a thick lamb-fleece lining, built as a half-closed burrow with a soft rolled opening at the front.
They walk in, turn around once and disappear up to the nose. The closed top traps the heat they make instead of letting it rise away, which is exactly what an open bed cannot do.

Why You'll Love It
🔥 The Heat Stays In
An open bed loses a pet's body heat straight upwards. A hooded one keeps it under the cover, so the inside is warm within a few minutes of them lying down and stays that way.
🌬 The Corduroy Blocks Draughts
The ribbed outer shell is dense and close-woven. On a tiled floor, by a door, or near a window in February, that outer layer is doing most of the work.
🐈 Open at the Front, Not Zipped Shut
The entrance stays open with a soft rolled edge. Nothing closes over them, so a nervous cat can see out and get out, which is what stops them refusing it.
🧶 Lamb Fleece Inside
The lining is deep, soft fleece rather than thin plush. It is the surface they knead at before settling, and it is why they stay rather than move to the sofa.
🛋 It Goes Where They Already Sleep
Flat-bottomed and light, so it sits on a sofa cushion, at the end of a bed, in a crate or in the back of the car without needing a frame around it.

🐕 Cats and Small Dogs Both
The shape suits a curled cat and a chihuahua, a dachshund or a small terrier equally. Up to about 6 kg in the larger size.
📐 Measure Before You Choose
Size by weight, not by hope. Under 3 kg takes the S, 3 to 6 kg the M. A bag that is too big never warms up properly, and that is the usual reason one goes unused.
🪶 Light to Carry About
It weighs very little, so it moves from the living room to the bedroom in one hand and goes in a bag for a weekend away.
🧼 Hand Wash
The padding is thick and the fleece is deep — a machine mats it. Lukewarm water, mild detergent, and dry it flat and fully before it goes back down.
🎨 Three Quiet Colours
Grey, beige and brown. It sits on a sofa without announcing itself as pet equipment, which matters when it lives in the living room all winter.
Giving Them Somewhere to Disappear
Put it where they already choose to sleep rather than where you would like them to. A new bed in a new place is a new bed nobody uses.
A worn jumper or their old blanket inside for the first few days carries the right smell and settles most cats in within an evening.
In, turn around, gone until spring 🐈🔥
